Wind Ensemble Celebrates Military, Holidays December 7

      SALISBURY, MD---The ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Wind 		Ensemble presents its annual holiday concert 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 		7, in Holloway Hall Auditorium.		Directed by Lawrence Knier, the concert presents a 		traditional band program with a mixture of holiday music and a selection 		chosen to honor America's military. Selections include Second Suite 		for Military Band in F by Gustav Holst, American Patrol by 		F.W. Meacham, traditional Spanish carol Fum, Fum, Fum arranged by 		Ken Dye, It Came Upon a Midnight Clear with setting by Morton 		Gould, March of the Toys and Toyland from Babes In 		Toyland by Victor Herbert, Sleigh Ride and A Christmas 		Festival by Leroy Anderson, Christmas in Poland by Vaclav 		Nelhybel and Once in Royal David’s City by Henry Bauntlett, 		arranged by Philip Sparke.		Sponsored by the Department of Music, 		the concert is part of SU’s “Experience the Sound” holiday music 		festival. The performance is free and the public is invited.
