class=""MsoNormal"">Sponsored by the Small Business Development Center (SBDC), an outreach program of Franklin P. Perdue School of Business at ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ and Chesapeake College, the next session is Wednesday, December 7, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. in Room AUD-01 at Chesapeake College.
class=""MsoNormal"">A business counselor discusses the importance and basics of writing a business plan. A business plan template is provided. An insurance specialist helps determine which types of insurance are needed. An attorney provides information on forming a corporation, and the legal reasons to use different types of business structures. A marketing expert shares marketing plan ideas, as well as examples of proven marketing techniques. A banker covers how to obtain financing from any financial institution and developing a positive relationship with a bank. An accountant discusses different types of bookkeeping methods and accurate record keeping.
