Collections
The Nabb Research Center preserves and makes accessible historical sources from the Colonial era through the present day. The Center is a remarkable resource for understanding the people and places of the Eastern Shore and all of Delmarva.
In addition, the Center is home to the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Archives and Special Collections. The University Archives preserves the collective memory of ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥, from its founding in 1925 to the present; and Special Collections feature collections documenting national and international history. The Nabb Center is also home to 6000+ artifacts related to Delmarva history, ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥, and archival collections.
In 2022, the Nabb Research Center became the official archival repository for the City of ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥, preserving and sharing the city’s earliest historical material dating back to 1867.
