About Faculty Development Day
Faculty Development Day is an annual event organized the Faculty Senate’s Faculty Development Committee, the Center for the Advancement of Faculty Excellence (CAFE) and Instructional Design & Delivery (ID&D). The half-day event helps kick-off the start of the academic year, allowing an opportunity to explore effective practices and provide faculty and staff with concrete ideas to incorporate into their teaching, research, creative activities and university life. It's a great opportunity to share experiences, build community and identify resources to pertinent to academic life at SU.

SU faculty and staff are invited to attend this year's event on teaching in higher education with focuses on teaching differently and preparing students for the future.
Registration will open in July/August. Walk-up registration available.
The event is being planned by the Faculty Development Committee, CAFE and ID&D.
