Laridae - Undergraduate Research Journal
Laridae, the Latin name for the family of birds that includes seagulls, features published works from undergraduate students across campus.
In fall 2019, ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ celebrated the launch of the first undergraduate student research journal in its history: Laridae. Created to complement and highlight the great works produced by SU’s undergraduate student body, Laridae is a vehicle for the dissemination of new knowledge and perspectives across ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥’s campus.

- Submit your research for publication in Laridae:
Laridae Timeline
- Editors for the editing team are selected March/April
- Submissions to one of the four sections—Arts and Humanities, Interdisciplinary, Sciences, and Social Sciences—of the journal are open beginning in May after the Spring Semester
- Acceptances are released mid-June
- Editing and author correspondence occur mid-June to July
- Final Review wraps up in August
- Publishing correspondence occurs September-November
- Laridae Launch happens following the journal’s publication in November
