AHA Basic Life Saving (BLS) Provider Course

The Richard A. Henson Medical Simulation Center’s skills session is designed for ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ College of Health and Human Services (CHHS) students who have completed the online American Heart Association (AHA) BLS course.
Students complete the self-guided, self-paced BLS blended learning online course at their convenience. After finishing the online portion, students must register for a structured, instructor-led, in-person skills session that includes hands-on practice, team-based scenarios, and skills testing.
Students must bring a printed copy of their online course completion certificate to the session.
Upon successful completion of the skills session, participants will receive their AHA BLS certification, valid for 2 years.
The cost is $18.75, which covers the certification card, and must be paid by cash or check on the day of training. Class size is strictly limited to 6 students per session.
A 48-hour cancellation notice is required. Students who do not provide adequate notice will not be eligible to reschedule at the Sim Center.
